Doctor Zhou Zhaojing has a video chat with his daughter at the health service center on the Lingshan Island of Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province, Aug. 16, 2019. The Lingshan Island is located some nine sea miles southeast off the west coast of Qingdao. Since 2013, the west coast new area has dispatched medical staff members to work by turns on the island. The 40-year-old Zhou was selected in 2018 as a general practitioner to work at the island's health service center.
