Zhuang Yan (2nd R), deputy to the 13th National People's Congress (NPC), takes notes of her colleagues' suggestions in Anshan, northeast China's Liaoning Province, Feb. 12, 2019. Zhuang Yan, 47, is a sanitation worker with Hengjie Sanitation Company in the Lishan District of Anshan city. In addition to performing well in her own work, Zhuang always thinks about how to better play her role as an NPC deputy. Whenever she goes to a northern city, Zhuang pays much attention to local curbs and their corrosion degree.
