HONG KONG, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale jolted Minahasa, Sulawesi, Indonesia at 07:00:01 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 18.08 km, was initially determined to be at 0.3976 degrees south latitude and 119.7631 degrees east longitude.
