HAIKOU, China, March 14 (Xinhua) -- The 2018 Round Hainan International Regatta will be held from March 25 to April 1 in Sanya in China's Hainan Province.

The ninth edition of the regatta will start from Sanya, the host city, and stop by Lingshui, Wanning and Haikou.

The whole event covers 820 nautical miles.

The regatta features eight groups including IRC1-6, Beneteau leisure and OP class.

A total of 45 sailing teams and 40 OP teenagers will participate in the event.

The regatta is sponsored by the Hainan Provincial Government.
