In 2015, Chen and some female villagers in Huanzidong founded a professional cooperative to make traditional snack "niandoubao". They learned each other's good points for common progress and standardized ingredient selection, proportion and making skills. The annual output of the cooperative reached 400 tonnes, with output value of three million yuan (about 469, 535 U.S. dollars).
